Tantra and Depression


Tantra deals with human development bringing harmony, inner peace and happiness. As it has the ability to touch different parts of the human psyche, it is another treatment method for depression. Depression may be lodged at various levels of our subconscious.

How does depression come about?

Depression generally appears when there is stagnant life energy, the “wounds” that we experience during our lifetime. Most of them start in childhood. All sorts of pains, traumas and difficult experiences accumulated in our body involve our emotional and physical bodies. They create a deep body weight.

All these injuries, accumulated during life, become part of our being and are not always felt in a conscious way. They begin to express themselves first in thought.

Close your eyes. Perceive your whole body. Realize all the energy that goes through your body. Stand upright, with your knees semi flexed, your feet parallel and hold for 5 minutes. You will notice an increase in energy in the region of the thighs. Visualize this energy by going up. Going through the entire trunk until you reach the top of the head, while you extend your knees veeeery slowly. Then analyze your internal state. Take deep breaths.
